     MintBlack Inc. is a privately held real estate investment, development, and property management firm founded in 1998 by Ghassan Aswad. Based in central Massachusetts, MintBlack achieves returns by investing in real estate and real estate-related debt investments, non-performing loans, tax liens, distressed assets, real estate-dependent operating companies, and select commercial and residential development opportunities. Our strategy is guided by an investment philosophy based on three key principles for acquiring, managing, and leasing properties in target markets along the East Coast of the United States.

     Unearthing of unique opportunities: During downturns or population changes, we invest in out-of-favor sectors or markets to exploit misalignments.   

     Risk-reward mitigation through due diligence: We capitalize on information, with a hands-on approach and attention to detail, to identify micro-market imbalances and secure investments on favorable terms. 

     Value-added management: We create capital appreciation opportunities through repositioning, restructuring, development, and intensive management.
